Interested in imparting your knowledge as an Abilities Expo speaker?

Abilities Expo is always seeking excellent speakers to share their expertise and knowledge. Are you are a dynamic presenter with information to share on a topic of interest to people with disabilities and those who support them – families, friends and caregivers? We would like to hear from you!

At each Abilities Expo show we present workshops with a strong focus on relevant, practical and useful information. The best workshops for Abilities Expo are those that present practical information that is useful for people with a wide range of disabilities, or those sessions that share information on emerging therapies, treatments and research. Please note we do not present motivational or inspirational workshops.

HOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL TO PRESENT

If you would like to be considered to present a workshop at an Abilities Expo show –

1. Download and review the Workshop Information Packet. This packet will provide you with information about the preferred topics,

Workshops are finalized four months prior to each show. We do receive a high volume of interest. We'll confirm receipt of your proposal, and if selected to speak, will be in touch with you to confirm your session for a show.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT A WORKSHOP PROPOSAL FOR CHICAGO 2016*

The deadline to submit a workshop proposal for Abilities Expo Chicago 2016 is February 19, 2016.

We encourage prospective speakers to submit early. The workshop schedule if often finalized prior to the deadline date.
