By Trevair Trevor Snowdin, Trevair Vision Games
Get ready for the ultimate video game experience with Trevair Vision Games’ latest release and the extended version of the Trevair Pro Wheelchair Stunt game, the W.C.S.X. Wheelchair Super X!
Real-life Sport Wheelchair Super X Has Gone Virtual
Designed specifically for adaptive skatepark riders, this exciting video game takes you head-to-head with other AI riders in a race to the finish line. Jump over huge tabletops, carve through beams, roll the whoops and get the fastest score times to come out on top.
What sets Wheelchair Super X apart is the adaptive device that you ride. With realistic physics that reflects the real-life model of Trevair Design Wheelchairs, you’ll feel like you are riding in a real BMX race. The power chair features fully independent suspension, 4-7 inches front and rear disc braking and speeds up to 30 mph. Bang bars knock other riders off track and get called out for it.
Originally introduced as a real-life extreme adaptive sport at the Los Angeles Abilities Expo, W.C.S.X. Wheelchair Super X gave everyone who wanted the chance to ride a shot, from the Expo owners to a blind rider who loved when he crashed into the barrier. By embracing digital technology, this new video game version has opened new doors for even more people to play. So go for it. It’s safer now.
Don’t take our word for it. Try W.C.S.X., the world’s coolest wheelchair and game for the adaptive action sports community and beyond. Plug in, charge up and ride. Download the game for free on your PC and don’t forget to leave a comment.
Trevair Breaks Barriers in Adaptive Sports, Online and IRL
My passion for extreme sports started early. As a young kid in Los Angeles, I started to jump my bike at age 7 over Tonka toys. A tragic accident at the age of 27 left me with zero mobility below the waist (T-12 para), but I transformed my grief into an unwavering determination to defy expectations.
Inspired by the thrill of speed and adventure, I spent hours tinkering with old wheelchair designs to re-fab them, dreaming of one day creating something extraordinary. I once told a nurse in rehab, "I will make the world's coolest wheelchair."
As my skills grew, so did my ambition. I soon set world records for wheelchair stunts, launching myself 55 feet over two cars in my hometown of South Lake Tahoe and achieving spectacular water pond jumps at a local ski resort.
These breathtaking feats captivated audiences and marked me as a legendary pioneer in the world of adaptive sports. My stunts are featured in mountain bike films New World Disorder 1, 2, 3. Each successful jump was a triumph over adversities, and a way to show the world that limits are often a construct of the mind and spirit.
Driven by a desire to uplift others, I did create that world’s coolest wheelchair, featuring an innovative independent seven-inch travel suspension. It wasn’t just a feat of engineering; it was a testament to resilience.
I wanted to inspire hope and prove that even those facing life’s challenges could soar above them—literally and metaphorically, haul ass. I also want to break barriers and change goofy rules like not allowing power chairs full access to bike parks.
When I created W.C.S.X. Wheelchair Super X, I wanted it to have the real vibe of BMX riding, complete with handlebars power throttle suspension. I look forward to the next few years when W.C.S.X will become a worldwide sport and my W.C.S.X. team and I will be looking for riders to keep the progression alive. In Los Angeles in 2028, we hope to for-run the BMX Olympic track as an exhibition. Stay tuned!
For now, I am thrilled to introduce the virtual version of W.C.S.X. Wheelchair Super X and hope that you love it as much as I do!
