Where is Abilities Expo being held?
Abilities Expo Ft. Lauderdale will be at the Broward County Convention Center, Hall A at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316 on October 18-20. Click here for directions. For a full schedule of all Expos around the US, click here.
What are the Expo hours?
Expo hours are 11am-5pm on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19, and 11am-4pm on Sunday, October 20.
Is admission free?
Yes, just click here to register.
Do you have a free shuttle from Phoenix?
Yes and no. Parking is typically $20, but Abilities Expo is offering free parking to the first 100 people to arrive at the show each day! In addition, the Broward County Convention Center provides complimentary parking if your vehicle:
- Has specialized equipment such as a ramp, lift, or foot or hand controls
- Displays the Florida Toll Exemption Permit, or:
- Displays the Disabled Veteran "DV" license plate

Have Hurricanes Milton and Helene affected the Expo?
Abilities Expo will proceed as scheduled. Your well-being is our top priority, and we hope that you and your loved ones are all safe and secure in the wake of the devastation from Milton and Helene. We hope that our show can help provide you with resources, connections and more as you navigate the path forward.
Do you share my contact information?
Never. Please refer to our privacy policy.
I registered online. Do I need to register each person accompanying me?
If the person accompanying you is in the same household, no. If they are under 18 years old, no. If you are accompanied by adults who do not reside with you, they need to register separately.
What do I do when I arrive onsite?
If you have pre-registered, proceed to the registration desk for check-in. If you have the text message you received the morning of the Expo or your confirmation email, you will receive a wristband. The wristband is good for all three days of the Expo. If you do not have a smartphone, please proceed to the registration counter and we will accommodate you. If you have not pre-registered, you can register onsite; we only need you to answer a few questions, not more than 2 minutes.

Can I earn CEUs at Abilities Expo?
You sure can! We have two complimentary CEU sessions on September 6 brought to you by Quantum Rehab: Empowering Participation: Mobility Device Air Travel Considerations at 10 am and Transportation & Community: Participation Among Power Wheelchair Users at 11 am, both in Meeting Room 1. Admission is free, but registration is required.
Will there be scooters or wheelchairs available for those who have trouble walking?
Pride Mobility is sponsoring complimentary loaner scooters on a first-come, first-served basis near Registration for adults over 18. A government-issued photo ID is required to participate in this offer. This service is available during show days and hours until 2:00 pm on Sunday, the final day of the event.
Will there be sign language interpretation onsite?
Yes, American Sign Language interpretation services is a complimentary service and is offered on a first come, first served basis for up to 40 minutes during show days and hours.
Can I get my wheelchair repaired at the Expo?
Yes, Sunrise Medical is the official Free Wheelchair Repair Pavilion sponsor of Abilities Expo and located in booth #600, 708. However, other companies will also repair their own products in their booths.
Can I bring my service or therapy animal to the Expo?
Yes, please, as long as the animal is under your control (leashed) at all times. There is a service dog relief area onsite.
What accommodations are there for accessible vehicles?
The facility has increased accessible parking spaces at the Expo. There is a drop off area in front of the Expo Hall, and then one can proceed to park.
I'm coming from out of town. What local hotels can I book?
