From the Interstate North or South
Florida Turnpike or I-95. Exit I-595 East to US-1 North (Federal Highway). US-1 (Federal Highway) to SE 17th Street (East). Follow SE 17th Street to Eisenhower Blvd (South). The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center main entrance is SE 20th Street.
From the Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood Airport
US-1 North (Federal Highway) to SE 17th Street (East). Follow SE 17th Street to Eisenhower Blvd (South). The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center main entrance is SE 20th Street.
From A1A Highway South
A1A South turns into SE 17th Street. Follow SE 17th Street to Eisenhower Blvd (South). The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center main entrance is SE 20th Street.
From US-1 (Federal Highway) North or South

From A1A Highway North
A1A North to East Dania Beach Boulevard. East Dania Beach Boulevard US-1 North (Federal Highway). US-1 North to SE 17th Street (East). Follow SE 17th Street to Eisenhower Blvd (South). The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center main entrance is SE 20th Street.
Parking and Drop-off:
Abilities Expo is thrilled to offer free parking to the first 100 people on each day of the show! Be sure to let the parking attendants know that you are an Abilities Expo Attendee.
The Broward County Convention Center is also offering free parking if your vehicle:
- Has specialized equipment such as a ramp, lift, or foot or hand controls
- Displays the Florida Toll Exemption Permit, or:
- Displays the Disabled Veteran “DV” license plate
Otherwise, parking is $20/day. If you are dropping a passenger off, please do so at the front entrance of Hall A as indicated on the map below. Then follow the red line to the Convention Parking Garage.
Transport to the expo
Broward County Convention Center Catch the Wave Program
The Catch the Wave program is a complimentary shuttle service that will pick up attendees from their vehicle and will drop them off at the Skywalk Bridge entrance located on the 2nd Foor of the BCCC garage.

Connections Housing is the ONLY official housing company for Abilities Expo. To ensure that your hotel accommodations are booked under the official negotiated hotel and room rates for Abilities Expo, please only book through Connections Housing. Beware of soliciting travel agencies! In past years we have been alerted of several travel agencies aggressively soliciting event attendees. It is important to note that the information these agencies provide is often untrue, many times involving non-existent room blocks, non-refundable deposits and false rates.

Expo hours are 11am-5pm on Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2, and 11am-4pm on Sunday, August 3.

When you register yourself, just indicate how many adults in your household will be joining you as your guests. Adults only, do not include any guest under 18 years old in that count. If you are accompanied by adults who do not reside with you, they should register separately.
If you have pre-registered, proceed to the registration desk for check-in. If you have the text message you received the morning of the expo or your confirmation email, you will receive a wristband. If you have not pre-registered, there will be a QR code to scan so you can register online. If you do not have a smartphone, please proceed to the registration counter and we will accommodate you.

Pride Mobility is sponsoring complimentary loaner scooters on a first-come, first-served basis near Registration. A government-issued photo ID is required to participate in this offer. This service is available during show days and hours until 2:00 pm on Sunday, the final day of the event.
Yes, American Sign Language interpretation services is a complimentary service and is offered on a first come, first served basis for up to 40 minutes during show days and hours.
Yes, Sunrise Medical is the official Free Wheelchair Repair Pavilion sponsor of Abilities Expo and located in booth #409. However, other companies will also repair their own products in their booths.
Yes, please, as long as the animal is under your control (leashed) at all times. There is a service dog relief area onsite.
Because the chemicals used in many products may make some people allergic and even ill, we strongly advise our attendees not to use any scented products that may prohibit other attendees from enjoying the expo.
The facility has increased accessible parking spaces at the expo. Parking at NRG Center is $22/entry and subject to change. Click here for parking and drop-off directions.
