Heather L. Ansley is the Chief Policy Officer at Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). Her responsibilities include managing the organization’s efforts on Capitol Hill and working with the Administration to promote legislation and policies that ensure disabled veterans with the greatest support needs have access to their earned health care and benefits and their disability civil rights are protected. She is a former chair of the Consortium for Constituents with Disabilities and served on the board of the Disability Rights Bar Association. She is also an internationally recognized expert on issues related to disability access, particularly in air travel, for people with disabilities. Ms. Ansley holds a BA and MSW from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a JD from the Washburn University School of Law in Kansas.
