Based out of New York City, Maggie Sposato has been immersed in the arts for her entire life. As a professional dancer and choreographer, Maggie was thrilled to be a member of various NYC dance and performance companies. Her love and training in all genres of dance is met with her love for teaching and educating dancers. During her teaching journey, Maggie’s passion for dance and helping individuals of all abilities has become a very important part of her life. Her personal life has propelled her to facilitate inclusive environments for individuals of all abilities. In 2018, Maggie began and founded Unique Movers, developed to fuse inclusion and movement for people of all ages, interests and capabilities. Maggie currently also works with GiGi’S Playhouse NYC as a dance and movement educator and choreographer. She most recently participated in their “ GiGi’S Playhouse NYC Fashion Gala” in 2024 and continues to offer her classes each semester. She has also created events for the Abilis Foundation, Angela’s House, iDance4aCURE,Team Nikhil Foundation, Special Olympics, and more.
Maggie is also the Executive Producer of a new documentary called, “P.S. Love, Robby.” This film explores her uncle’s life story and gives insight into the challenges and everyday issues of being an adult with neurodivergent and autistic tendencies. Directed by Brian Thomas of Brian Thomas Films, along with Brian Rubiano, this documentary captivates the heart and brings great inspiration and hope to the big screen. This film has been recognized and won the prestigious Over the Rhine International Film Festival Award and been selected to be screened and recognized at The Hayden 5.0 Film Festival.
