The Philadelphia Flyers PowerPlay are a power wheelchair floor hockey team based in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Power wheelchair floor hockey, more commonly known as Powerhockey, is played by people who use power wheelchairs in their everyday lives. Our team is made up of about 25 players with various disabilities, including but not limited to Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, and Spinal Cord Injuries. The team plays twice a month on Saturdays, September through June. The Flyers PowerPlay have been providing an athletic and social opportunity for people with disabilities since 2003.
